The Brake Caliper Presses the Brake Pad against the Rotor.

Let's start with the brake pads.  Cheap brake pads sound attractive at the cash register, but usually result in a return visit to the shop.  The sound and performance of these pads will disspoint you resulting in a replacement of the parts with a better grade.  At Right Solutions, we start witht he upgraded parts to avoid a return by our customers.

Rotors are the large disks your brakepads push against to slow or stop your car.  Mechanics used to "turn" the rotors to remove the groves left by the old brakepads so they could be used again.  Today's mechanics have moved to simply replacing the rotors instead.  This gives you the driver that the best possible braking surface is being utilized.

The calipers are the device that squeezes your brake pad to the rotor to stop your car.  They typically don't need to be replaced, but still need to be inspected.  Our mechanics don't simply replace your parts, they ensure your system is working properly.

The master cylinder is what transfers the pressure you are applying to the brake pedal to the caliper which squeezes the brakepad against the rotor.  To do this it uses brake fluid to apply the pressure.  Right Soltuions will inspect the master cylinder and the fluid level to make sure your vehicle's entire brake system is functioning.
